Who?

Pershing, a leading provider of outsourcing solutions for private client firms and institutional broker dealers in Europe.

What?

In the lead up to the launch of the Retail Distribution Review (RDR) reforms, Pershing wanted to support the wealth management industry with insight about how the marketplace was developing and how clients were responding to the changing environment.

In particular, the client wanted:

  • A market research study investigating the views of wealth advisors and investment industry professionals.
  • A thought leadership report to drive brand awareness and support wealth managers.

Why Scorpio Partnership?

We offered the ability to reach wealth management advisors and UK private investors directly to poll their views about how the delivery of financial services was changing in the UK.

Pershing was also keen to leverage our reputation for producing award winning thought leadership.

What did we do?

  • We polled the views of 320 wealth managers in the UK using an online survey.
  • A further 20 in-depth interviews were carried out with senior decision makers at a range of UK wealth management firms.
  • The results were published in a report, Through the Looking Glass.
