Research analyst

We are seeking a confident BSc or MSc graduate with a degree in economics, engineering, physics or other applied sciences to develop and build upon our socio-economic statistical database.

The role will involve responsibility for data selection and evaluation and applying economic and statistical modelling techniques.

The successful candidate will be working in a strongly team-oriented environment supporting a variety of projects for blue-chip clients

Analytical skills:

• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Access
• Ability to identify data sources from national and supra-national economic sources
  
• Experience data mining hard and soft data sets
  
• Good knowledge of multivariate analysis techniques
  
• Good knowledge of applied income distribution modelling
  
• Application of binomial confidence interval techniques
  

Business skills:

• Ability to collate and tabulating data in presentation format
  
• Good presentation skills
  
• Confidence establishing contact and building relationships with professionals and senior executives
  

Fluency in one or more European languages, particularly English, French, German, Italian or Spanish, would be an advantage.
