Researcher

We are seeking a confident and experienced BA or MA graduate with a degree in social sciences, economics or marketing, or with a minimum of three years’ industry experience in financial markets, wealth management or financial journalism.

The role will involve responsibility for blue-chip client projects and financial analysis, with a strong emphasis on project delivery. It will mainly consist of:

Secondary research:

• Searching the company archives, subscription services and other open sources for data relevant to specific research reports
• Analysing qualitative and quantitative data
• Collating/tabulating data and drafting content in a presentation format

Primary research:

• Development of issues guides for interviews with professionals and private individuals in the wealth management and related industries
• Database management of professionals and private individuals as subjects for such research
• Developing contact with these persons on an ongoing basis
• Interviewing professionals and private individuals by telephone or face-to-face using an issues guide
• Analysing qualitative and quantitative data gathered from such field research
• Collating and tabulating data in a presentation format

The successful candidate will have experience of both primary and secondary research, strong analytical skills and experience of conducting interviews.
