Secondary research relies on published or open source material; we generally undertake such work to support primary research projects. However, we do offer market mapping and competitor benchmarking research on a standalone basis.

In addition, our analysts monitor a wide range of open sources relating to wealth management on an ongoing basis. This maintains their detailed understanding of the products, services and players in the market place, and consequently ensures the quality of our primary research by maintaining their depth of market and subject matter understanding.

Market mapping

These projects can be undertaken as a standalone service or as a first step in primary research. Many of our clients for market mapping have been product or service suppliers looking to build a targeted sales list for a new or existing product or service.

Competitor benchmarking

These are the most varied research projects we undertake, usually to analyse what is available in the industry in terms of private client offerings, product ranges or strategic approaches. Clients requesting a benchmarking project may be:
